Jada Smith's true 'soulmate' was gunned down as she makes Will split confession

Jada Pinkett Smith admitted who she felt her true soulmate was, and it comes after she and Will have been separated for several years.

In a new interview with Rolling Out to promote her celebrity memoir, Jada Pinkett Smith admitted she’s known who her soulmate was for years. However, it turns out it wasn’t Will Smith. The movie stars have been separated for seven years, Jada has said. It comes as Will and Jada’s kids ‘feel traumatized’ over the details of their marriage being in public, a source claimed.

Jada Pinkett Smith’s soulmate – and it wasn’t Will

The Madagascar star told Christal Jordan at Rolling Out that Will wasn’t her soulmate, but an old friend of Jada Smith’s was.

To be clear, she believes soulmate can mean much more than the romantic sense.

Jada Pinkett Smith said: “Our children can be our soulmates. I think [there’s] this kind of romanticized idea of, like, a soulmate. You know, there’s all kinds of definitions of soulmate.”

She went on to name late rapper Tupac Shakur as her ‘soulmate’.

She also believes: “If there is such a thing as past lives, I definitely think ‘Pac and I have traveled a few together.”

But the Hollywood star explained there never was any chemistry between them, it was strictly Platonic.

Tupac was gunned down in Las Vegas

Tupac was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, when the car he was in stopped at a red light, in September 1996. He was just 25 years old at the time.

Tupac suffered multiple injuries and passed away a week later.

Nearly 30 years after the killing, a man who prosecutors say ordered the job, was arrested and charged with murder. It has been hailed as a breakthrough in the death of the hip hop star.

Investigators named Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis as one of four suspects they’ve looked into since that fateful night. Davis has not been accused as shooting Tupac, but alleged to be the group’s ringleader. In Nevada, a suspect can be charged with a crime if they help someone else commit the offense.

Las Vegas police homicide lieutenant Jason Johansson said Davis “orchestrated the plan”.

Davis himself wrote in his 2019 memoir, called Compton Street Legend, he provided the gun used in the drive-by.

Tupac is still regarded as one of the most influence rappers of all time. His death came as his fourth album, All Eyez on Me was storming the music charts. He was nominated for six Grammy Awards.

Will and Jada have been ‘living separate lives for years’

Jada explained this week she and Will have been separated since 2016. But the celebrity couple have not filed for divorce.

In an NBC interview, she clarified: “I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through whatever.

“I just haven’t been able to break that promise.”

The bombshell came 18 months after Will Smith slapped comedian Chris on the Oscars stage on live TV. The moment broke the internet and sent shockwaves across the world. Smith responded to Rock’s controversial joke about Jada’s hair. He didn’t take it well, as Jada has opened up over her Alopecia battle several times over the years.

Jada then went on her Facebook family TV show, Red Table Talk, and said she had a romantic ‘entanglement’ with August Alsina.
