An "earthquake" has been felt in parts of the UK this evening, although it is yet to be officially confirmed.
Members of the public across Stoke-On-Trent and the rest of Staffordshire claim to have felt their houses "shake" following a "big rumble".
The tremor is believed to have occurred between after 9.19pm, according to quake monitoring website Volcano Discovery.

One resident tweeted: "Erm... I think we have just had an #earthquake in Stoke-on-trent, England.
"Was using my computer and heard a tiny rumble sound that got bigger and a sudden shaking under my feet. Its either a earthquake or a HUGE explosion. It felt like a small quake."
Another added: "I generally thought I was losing the plot but there has defiantly just been an earthquake in Staffordshire"

One resident told StokeonTrentLive: "Something shook my bed like the bloody Exorcist."
There have also been several unconfirmed reports on Twitter of the shaking being felt in nearby Derbyshire.
One tweet read: "Did anyone else feel an earthquake? Derby," to which another Twitter user replied: "Yes! Thought I was having a psychotic break or somet[hing]."
Volcanic Discovery reported: "We are receiving unverified early reports of ground shaking possibly caused by seismic activity in or near Stoke-on-Trent, England, United Kingdom on 28 Jun 2023 (GMT) at approximately 20:19 GMT.
"There are no details yet on the magnitude or depth of this possible quake."
